- The span length is the distance of the supporting beam in the shorter direction.
- The modulus of Elasticity and allowable fiber stress of plate material are not fixed and kept as user input.
- As per AISC Allowable deflection = Span length / 100, however, in this calculation 100 is labeled as “Deflection Factor” and can be input as 100,180,200, etc. as per their code and specification
