The following two shapes are available in the calculator

Rectangular Trenches: For rectangular crosssection, use the below formula;

V=L×W×D

Here; L = length, W = width, and D = depth of the trench.

Trapezoidal Trenches: For trepozoidal crosssection, use the below formula:

V=L×((W1+W2)/2)×D

Here L = length, W1= = top width, W2 = bottom width, and D = trench depth.
