Speed, Time, Distance Calculator

Our Speed Time Distance Calculator is an easy-to-use tool that helps you quickly find speed, time, or distance just by entering any two values you already know. It’s quick, simple, and perfect for homework, study, or everyday use.

Whether you’re planning a trip, checking how fast something moves, or solving a physics question, this tool will do the math for you. It also displays the formula used and provides a step-by-step explanation, allowing you to understand how the answer was calculated.

Formulas

  • Speed = Distance ÷ Time
  • Time = Distance ÷ Speed
  • Distance = Speed × Time

Example 1:

Let’s say you walked 100 meters in 20 seconds. To find the speed:

Speed = Distance ÷ Time
Speed = 100 ÷ 20 = 5 m/s

This means you were walking at a speed of 5 meters per second.

Example 2:

A car is moving at a constant speed of 80 km/h. How much distance will it travel in 30 minutes?

Distance = Speed × Time

Time = 30 min = 30/60 = 0.5 hr
Distance = 80 × 0.5 = 40Km

The car will travel 40 kilometers in 30 minutes.
